What does a session look like?Sessions are provided with the client fully clothed — please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Each session is tailored to your needs and may combine gentle manual therapy and microcurrent therapy, or focus on one approach, depending on your preferences and goals. Craniosacral Therapy A light-touch approach that helps release restrictions in the nervous system and surrounding tissues. It can support relief from headaches, neck and back pain, stress and tension, TMJ dysfunction, and promotes deep relaxation and overall nervous system balance. Ortho-Bionomy A gentle, osteopathic-based method that works with the body’s natural reflexes and preferred movement patterns. It is often used to address musculoskeletal pain, postural imbalances, injuries, and chronic tension — helping the body self-correct and restore ease. Equiscope A non-invasive technology that delivers gentle microcurrent to support cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and encourage optimal function. It is frequently used for pain relief, recovery from injury, and overall nervous system regulation. The Experience Together, these approaches may help with pain, stress, trauma recovery, mobility, and nervous system balance — while offering a restorative, deeply calming experience.

Who can benefit from this type of therapy?Pain is often the driver for seeking help. Whether from injury, invasive procedures, stress or chronic tension, my approach supports the body to return to balance. This work can help with: Joint pain and stiffness (arthritis, TMJ discomfort, or carpal tunnel) Muscle tension, strains, or repetitive stress injuries Neck and back pain (including disc issues or postural imbalance) Foot pain (plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, CMC arthritis ) Faster recovery/regeneration after surgery or injury Nervous system dysregulation (feeling "stuck in stress" or unable to relax) General inflammation, detoxification, and fatigue a desire to feel more aligned, grounded, and deeply relaxed in their bodies.

How many sessions would I need?True healing can take time—and frequency. How much also depends on each unique individual. Results may be experienced in just 1-3 sessions. Periodic or maintenance sessions may be desired for ongoing, chronic issues. The benefits of microcurrent are cumulative, and repetition is key to lasting results.
-
How should I prepare for my session? To gain the most benefit from every session: Keep your body well hydrated. Drink plenty of water, particularly before your session. Drinking electrolytes just prior to session will further assist micro-current signals to travel most easily through your body. Some easy ideas for electrolytes uptake: Celtic sea salt 1/2 teaspoon with 16oz of water, coconut water (6oz), or celery juice. Please wear loose-fitted clothing for ease of electrode placement and to receive bodywork. For best results, refrain from immersing in hot water for 24hrs-48hrs following session. Avoiding the bath, hot and long showers, sauna and hot tub allows the applied micro-currents to integrate deeper within your body. Further clarification: microcurrent therapy gently encourages your body’s natural healing responses, including subtle changes in blood flow and tissue balance. When you immediately expose your body to high heat—like in a hot tub, sauna, or very hot shower—you can dramatically increase circulation and body temperature all at once. This sudden, strong change can override or interrupt the more delicate processes set in motion by the microcurrent therapy, potentially reducing its effectiveness and causing discomfort. Minimize handling electronic devices such as phones, pads and watches during and after session - exposure to radiation may limit the benefits of micro-current therapy. If your schedule permits, allow for restful down-time or a nap after your session. Microcurrent therapy can evoke deep relaxation for many following their session.

How does Microcurrent target & treat pain?Equiscope manages pain by using biofeedback and microcurrent technology to target and enhance cellular function at the site of injury or inflammation. Microcurrent Therapy: Equiscope delivers extremely low levels of electrical current to the body. These tiny electrical signals are designed to mimic the body’s bioelectrical current, which is responsible for cellular communication and healing processes. Cellular Repair and Regeneration: By delivering these precise micro-currents, Equiscope helps stimulate the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the energy currency of the cell. Increased ATP production enhances the cell’s ability to repair and regenerate tissues, reducing pain and promoting healing. Reduction of Inflammation: The device helps reduce inflammation, which can be a major source of pain. By restoring cellular balance and reducing inflammatory markers, Equiscope decreases the pain signals being sent to the brain. Biofeedback Mechanism: Equiscope uses biofeedback to scan for areas of electrical impedance (blockages or resistance) in the body. When it detects these areas, it adjusts its current to optimize healing and reduce pain in those specific tissues. This tailored approach helps target pain at its source. Nerve and Tissue Healing: Pain is often associated with nerve damage or irritated tissues. Microcurrent therapy can help calm overactive nerves and stimulate the repair of nerve and tissue cells, reducing pain over time. This multi-faceted approach makes Equiscope effective for managing pain by supporting the body’s natural healing processes and directly addressing the causes of pain at a cellular level.

How does Equiscope compare to FSM?Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a form of microcurrent therapy that uses pairs of frequencies (channels A and B) believed to target specific tissues and conditions. It requires precise diagnosis and often a static, protocol-based treatment approach. In contrast, Equiscope incorporates: Smart Technology: Equiscope intelligently adapts to your body through feedback loops, so each treatment is deeply personalized and efficient. Deeper Cellular Communication: This feedback allows the body to inform the Equiscope healing process, instead of imposing a predetermined protocol. Comfort and Safety: Because the current is precisely and continuously regulated, treatments are more gentle, safe, and often more effective — even for people with complex or chronic conditions. Integrated Healing: Rather than targeting one frequency pair at a time, Equiscope works with multiple physiological pathways simultaneously for a holistic healing experience. So while FSM and Equiscope both use microcurrent, only Equiscope offers real-time feedback, adaptive intelligence, and streamlined treatment delivery.
